Be the first ones to check out the design submissions and candidates on April 3, 2014 held at the Vancouver Art Gallery.

The event commences at 7 p.m. where attendees may view over 100 design entries from around the world, and vote for the People’s Choice Award before the submissions go public.

“A single winning team will be selected to design, build and install a temporary public space installation for summer 2014. This year’s theme is connection: people’s connection to one another and people’s connection to the space”.

–  VIVA Vancouver

Amongst the talents from all walks of life, Douglas Coupland will be in attendance as a special guest speaker.  The design exhibition will be hosted by Fred Lee, CBC Radio One’s prominent personality and humorist on The Early Edition.

Be sure to pre-register as the event is free to enter with cash bar and DJ on site.
