Lululemon spray-on yoga pants 'sold out' - cost $1,200 a can

Lululemon spray on yoga pants Jimmy Kimmel

Lululemon has shown that it has a sense of humour. The locally based yoga clothing giant played along with Jimmy Kimmel’s Thursday night joke that the company’s latest line is spray-on yoga pants.

Jimmy Kimmel’s joke…

The joke on Jimmy Kimmel Live, complete with a 1-minute parody advertisement, was in response to news that many American schools had banned females from wearing Lululemon yoga pants because they were too form fitting.

Lululemon’s response

The company responded almost immediately by ‘launching’ the line on their website. Each can costs $1,200, is rated four out of five stars according to 653 ‘reviews’, and is sold out online. There are even sizing options with the spray-on yoga pants.

Why does it cost $1,200? In each can there is apparently enough spray for 1,200 pairs of “next-to-naked” acrylic yoga pants.
