By Tiffany Kaczmarczyk | 7 months ago | Speak Up

Say goodbye to those lazy mornings that begin with a grumbling hunger only to be satisfied with cold cereal and milk. Breakfast Courier at breakfastcourier.com is here to save you from a previous night of partying (in need of some morning hangover therapy/grub) to your childhood self wanting some homestyle breakfast foods without ever leaving the house.

Breakfast Courier is a team of bike couriers, chefs and professionals who combined their talents to create a breakfast delivery service that delivers breakfast to your home, condo, apartment or anywhere you happen to find yourself in the morning. Their menu has been designed by a Red Seal Chef and the Head Butcher at the Fairmont Pacific Rim to ensure that your breakfast arrives to you in its most delicious form no matter how far it travels, and that is delicious.

Hot gourmet breakfasts are delivered Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to noon and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The map below shows their area of service/delivery:

Just to manage the expectations of anyone who is incredibly excited about this: I pre-ordered online last night for a 9am delivery (and received an email confirmation, no less), called them at 9:15am when it still hadn’t shown up, and was told that something is wrong with the website and they didn’t receive my order. Also, the online order form isn’t very clear: there wasn’t an option to choose which free side (bacon or sausage) I wanted with my pancakes…in fact, I didn’t realize they were included until I called directly.

I think they can really knock this one out of the park, but until they work out the kinks, best to lessen your expectations. Or at least, phone in your order. Sigh.

UPDATE: To their credit, the delivery courier apologized for the confusion and comped part of my order. The food was pretty good too. (My receipt indicates that my order was processed via La Brasserie, one of their partner restaurants.)

    Hi Nikki!

Again, apologies on the confusion today, as mentioned we had some technical issues with the order system but they are now fixed.

We appreciate your feedback about the order form and the updates will be coming right away.

We are glad you enjoyed your food, and to clarify, the food actually came from The Brasserie Bistro (not La Brasserie).

Enjoy your day and we hope to hear from you soon!

    The Breakfast Courier Team.

Lovely. Now where’s the veggie option (pots, eggs, mushrooms, fried toms, beans?)?

  • The Breakfast Courier

Definitely! We are working on some vegan and gluten free options as well! All of that should be coming pretty quickly!

Just curious, Do any of the restaurants use Styrofoam Containers??

  • The Breakfast Courier

For our services, we only use recyclable paper containers. The restaurants may use styrofoam containers for some of their own services but I don’t think that is the case. Any order placed through us will come in the paper containers that we have set as the standard.

this is a potentially good idea. i say potentially because i’ve seen it done well before, and seen it done terribly before. breakfast foods, namely eggs, are absolutely wretched if they aren’t served piping hot. as long as these people have their logistics absolutely nailed, it should be great. until they have it perfect though, expect a high complaint rate.
