Vancouver is once again the Most Walkable City in Canada and ranks fourth among cities in North America and Australia for walkability.

The list was compiled by Walk Score as part of its annual compilation, which also ranked Vancouver as Canada’s top walkability city in last year’s list. They rated the walkability of more than 300 Canadian cities and 1,200 neighbourhoods. Not surprisingly, the Downtown peninsula, West End and Strathcona pushed the city up in the rankings.

Vancouver outranked other cities with a score of 78 while all 2,978 cities in North America and Australia surveyed had an average “Walk Score” of 36. The city’s score remains unchanged from last year’s survey.
