Street Scouting: Clueless Friday

Comments
Clueless, Black Friday

Black Friday shopping can be daunting. To prep for the big weekend, take a little inspiration from fictional style icon, Cher Horiwtz of Clueless. Cher was basically a professional shopper and we know she would’ve killed at Black Friday shopping, so we are definitely channeling her for some retail therapy know-how this weekend. If there’s anything we learned from Cher, the benefits of retail therapy are incomparable.

We love how Gillian of Prim&paup3r is channeling Cher with a more current take on the most iconic Clueless outfit. A buttoned up blouse with DIY collar add a more modern and sophisticated twist while the plaid mini skirt and knee-high stockings usher in memories of the style legacy that Clueless left behind. Now the 90’s grunge gone girly style has been revived for the modern day gal, with influences still present on many runways and streets.

*head to toe on Gillian: Topshop jacket, Club Monaco blouse, Banana Republic skirt, Denim & Supply by Ralph Lauren boots, Betsey Johnson socks, DIY collar.
