Fashion Fix: J.Crew Park Royal Opens

J.Crew Park Royal

J.Crew, the American fashion retailer that’s coveted by the top fashion bloggers, moms and even hipsters alike, has made quite the mark on our city since opening their first store on Robson Street back in the spring of 2012. After two successful store openings (Robson and Pacific Centre), it’s now the North Shore’s turn to get an injection of Jenna Lyons.

The newest J.Crew is part of Park Royal Village’s $150-million expansion and revitalization project, which includes the opening of other new retailers like Zara, Anthropologie, Sephora and Quebec retailer La Maison Simons. If you’ve driven by this West Vancouver shopping hub in recent months, you’ll notice a complete overhaul on it’s south side, as a walkable outdoor shopping experience comes to life.

This week, I had a sneak peek’s inside J.Crew’s 7,093 square foot Park Royal location, and although the same style esthetic we’ve loved for years greets us in every corner (bold prints and colours, lust-worthy statement jewelry and nods to American nostalgia), this location has a few new surprises in store. J.Crew Park Royal is the second-biggest J.Crew in Canada, and the first Canadian store to carry the retailer’s children’s line, Crewcuts, made for boys and girls ages 2 to 14. And if you’re starting your Christmas shopping early, visitors to the J.Crew Park Royal opening will have advanced access to Holiday gifting items such as chic tie clips and comfortable slippers, perfect for stocking-stuffers.

No matter if you’re a die-hard J.Crew fan or just a shopper looking for a new place for some retail therapy, a visit to the new retailers at Park Royal South is worth a visit, plus the free parking doesn’t hurt either. J.Crew Park Royal opens its doors on Friday, November 15, 2013.
