Disney Dream

No matter how old you are, the magic of Disney never leaves you.

Disney Dream

They say it’s the happiest place on earth where dreams comes true, and a place you want to call home. What many people don’t know is that the magic of Disney isn’t only on land; follow me aboard the “Disney Dream” as we embark on an amazing adventure.

The Disney Dream is one of four cruise ships run by, you guessed it, Disney. This is definitely not your average boat; Disney Dream holds up to 4000 passengers, not including the 1500 crew  members. Anything you can think of this boat has it from six restaurants, each with a distinct theme, 10 nightlife lounges that will suit every mood, five pools with one designated just for the adults and spa to relax you from all the exciting mayhem. I guess you could say onboard the Disney Dream the phrase “I’m bored” is unheard of.

Now the entertainment section is definitely something that will leave all ages speechless. Before the ship even sets sail you are introduced to all the performing crew and characters during  pre-sail performance. Throughout your stay there are 11 other shows and no one is like the other. From shows all about Mickey and his friends to shows celebrating the villainous villains, which, in my opinion, was a real knee slapper.

Each ship has a specific route for where they take their passengers. Disney Dream picks up their guests in Florida then makes two stops before returning back. The first stop is Nassau in the Bahamas; the second at Castaway Cay, a private island owned by Disney Dream. It’s truly amazing waking up each morning to discover that you are in another part of the world.

“Meet and Greets” are another magical experience on the Disney Dream where each day many Disney characters are stationed around the ship to allow guests to have their photos taken with them and to sign autographs. There are also  play areas where you can interact with characters like Tinker Belle; unfortunately the play area is only for the little ones, sorry parents.

No matter how young or old your are your imagination is guaranteed to go wild aboard the Disney Dream; old memories will come flooding back along with new everlasting memories forming.
