Everyone seems to be going gluten-free these days. While “diet” and “restriction” aren’t exactly words in our vocabulary, more and more people are waving wheat goodbye. So if your grocery list includes tamari, amaranth cereal, and spaghetti made from rice, Vancity Buzz and Chowmenow found some cheap eats that are going to be right up your gluten-free alley.

Like we’ve said before, Smak is guilt-free, gluten-free, and waste-free — even the packaging is compostable! If you’re on a $5 budget, it’s a great place to come for breakfast. Choose from five types of oatmeal that range between $3.36 to $4.65. There are also various pastries for under $3 and a quinoa multi-seed bread toasted with almond butter for $2.50.
