Wine Wednesday: Top 5 Summer Wines Under $25

Comments
Women wine drinking

Whenever I head to the wine store, I always have a few bottles in mind to check out. However, I’m usually searching for the same thing: great wines for a great price (preferably under $25). Below are my tried and true wines for summer. Great news – they are all under $25 and available in Vancouver! Bring this the next time you’re out buying wine and I can guarantee you’ll find a new favourite. Enjoy each of these wines with light summer foods, or sipping on the patio with the sun beating down on you listening to your favourite tunes with great company. They won’t disappoint.

Stoneleigh Sauvignon Blanc – $17.99: A classic Sauvignon Blanc taste, this wine is refreshing and  a great balance of acidity and sweetness.

Joie Muscat – $22.90: Joie Farm wines are always rustic, full in taste and great with food. They are a favourite wine label of B.C.

La Frenz Sauvignon Blanc – $22: A friend recently brought this back from The Okanagan for me and I absolutely love this award-winning wine.

Masi Pinot Grigio – $17.99: A classic Italian Pinot Grigio with a gorgeous bottle to boot! Clean flavours, but a little fuller taste than Sauvignon Blanc so it can stand up well with food.

Odyssey_Rose_Brut_2009

Gray Monk Odyssey Rosé Brut – $19.99: A new favourite this summer, it’s perfect to enjoy alongside French cheese and appies as it’s made with Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay Musque grapes. It is dry and full of flavour ranging from stone fruit to berries.
