TD Vancouver Chinatown Festival

You are invited to “Discover Chinatown [and] explore the world” at the Vancouver Chinatown Festival 2013.

The Vancouver Chinatown Festival 2013 will feature many of the same events that last year’s festival attendees had the chance to experience; the events, ranging from a “kids corner” to a “Historical and Food Tasting Walking tour,” allowed festival goers “to experience the biggest multicultural summer celebration in town.”

The event’s hosts and sponsors promise to have more events and new programs at this year’s festival.

Vancouver Chinatown Festival 2013 Events Include:

  • TD Youth Talent Showdown 2013
  • Streetfest 2013
  • Day Market “is located at 100 block of Keefer Street. The Day Market will contain a wide variety of merchandises and food from different cultures. This is your chance to try dishes you have never tried before. Bring home gifts and souvenirs from the many booths throughout the Day Market.”
  • Cultural Corner. “Learn and experience different cultures in this corner [through walking tours]… Each tour lasts about 30 – 45 minutes and begins at Chinese Monument Square every half hour (Registration fee — $5 each).”
  • Kids’ Corner: activities include games and face painting!
