British Columbia’s best dance teams are getting ready to compete at World of Dance Vancouver’s third annual festival at the Croatian Cultural Centre on June 22. Presented by Paul Mitchell, performances include America’s Best Dance Crew’s Chachi Gonzales, Brian Puspos, Jun Quemado and more. Hosted by Marlon J English, Ricky Cole, and Big-Los, competitors include Canada’s Got Talent’s FRESHH crew, dance teams from Victoria’s Vibestreet dance studio, and Alberta’s YEGrBombs.

Featuring a variety of attractions such as food trucks, apparel vendors and a B-Boy battle zone, the all-ages event is expecting around 3,000 attendees. The festival will conclude on Sunday, June 23, with public dance workshops taught by multiple world-renowned choreographers. Sponsors include Monster, Sprott-Shaw Community College, The Beat 94.5 and Dipt.

Established in 2008, the World of Dance Tour is an annual dance competition, taking place in 17 international markets.
