If you thought you saw director Tim Burton walking the streets of Gastown the other day, you probably did.
The Vancouver Sun reported Burton scouting locations in Stanley Park a couple weeks ago. Burton is in town to film his upcoming feature biography Big Eyes, based on the true story of painter Margaret Keane and her manipulative husband Walter, who took credit for her art work.
The film is set to star Christoph Waltz, Amy Adams, Krysten Ritter, Jason Schwartzman and Danny Huston – adding to the already growing list of celebrities making their way to Hollywood North this summer.
