SHORE 104.3 FM is delighted to announce this year’s SHOREfest lineup at the summer sparkler, The Honda Celebration of Light. The free concert series run in tandem with the annual firework celebrations at English Bay on July 27, July 31 and August 3.
SHOREfest is a celebration of all things Canadian, and one of Vancouver’s annual summer highlights. The free community event features free live music, a spectacular fireworks display from international competitors, a vendor village and one of Vancouver’s famous beaches at its heels. The annual event is a gem in Vancouver’s history, and this year’s lineup is one not to miss!
The SHOREfest lineup presented by Shore 104 features some impressive Canadian headliners on the Shore 104 Stage in English Bay! Leading off with Juno Award winner Serena Ryder on opening night, Daniel Wesleyon Wednesday July 31st and Mother Mother on the night of the grand finale! Supporting acts include, Good for Grapes, The Boom Booms, and Head of the Heard. At the Rogue Stage at Sunset Beach, you will find local Vancouver favourites Grapes of Wrath, Deep Dark Woods, and Fred Eaglesmith headlining, along with The River and The Road, No Sinner, Dawn Pemberton, Northcote, Buckman Coe, Rich Hope, The Good Lovelies, and Greg Drummondopening up the stage. All performances are free to watch with programming starting as early as 5pm.

The firework competitors for 2013 are the United Kingdom (July 27), Canada (July 31) and Thailand (August 3). Vancouver natives as well as tourists are encouraged to bring their blankets down and snag a seat early in the day. The tantalizing SHOREfest festivities and pristine beaches make this suggestion all too difficult to reject.
