Vancouverites are being asked to submit photos that speak to the question: “What does Vancouver mean to you?” Community leaders, including founder of YYoga – Lara Kozan, design and sustainability specialists at LululemonAthletica – Colin Moore and Cara Sumpton, member of The Buried Life – Duncan Penn and founder of The Beaumont Art Studio– Jude Kusnierz will be judging the photo submissions and selecting 12 pictures that creatively portray Vancouver. The winning images will be featured on the Doze Vancouver t-shirt. Check out the contest launch this Friday, June 14th

Doze City Apparel is hosting an evening to celebrate the official contest launch! The event is open to the public and runs from 7pm – late. Listen to the contest judges share their inspiring stories and vision for Vancouver, enjoy amazing local music including 5 piece drumming sensation Kutapira and Tri-City group The Community Trees, enter to win great prizes including dinner at locally sourced Raincity Grill, an outfit from Vancouver’s renowned designer Nicole BridgerYYoga pass and much more!

Vancouver born Doze City Apparel is on a mission to inspire, unite and engage people with their local community. They’ve partnered with local organizations to create fun and engaging experiences for Vancouverites to take part in called Doze Days. Doze Days are monthly events that offer an avenue for locals and visitors to engage in purposeful, educational and fun group volunteer projects that benefit the community.
