The 29th annual World Partnership Walk takes place on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Lumbermen’s Arch in Stanley Park. Starting Sunday, over the course of the next three weeks, thousands of Canadians in 10 cities around the country will be taking steps to end global poverty. Over the past 28 years, the Walk, an initiative of Aga Khan Foundation Canada, has raised over $75 million, of which 100 per cent goes directly to the cause – not one cent is spent on admin costs. Rain or shine, this amazing event will happen in Vancouver. Here are some highlights of what to expect.
