Here is another great Vancouver rental listed on Craigslist. A bed in the bathroom, what a great idea. This should be added to the message to Vancouver landlords master list.

  • $500/month includes utilities, washer and dryer, and wireless internet.
  • Close to transit and shops.

hahah Looks like People from China are really big on Immigration standards now.. this should be against the law!!

  • Conor Doyle

This has to be a joke right??

  • Trevwoh

    absolutely DISGUSTING

  • Kat

And I thought those “free rent in exchange for fun!” ads were bad – at least then, there was the (slim) possibility of a positive outcome. I don’t really see the potential benefits to living in someone’s bathroom.

    “people from China” wtf?

  • ROB

Well in all fairness it is a heck of a nice bathroom. Trust me I looked at a place in North Van for $600/month that was literally a bed, the whole room was a bed with barely enough room to put your shoes down and there was crap everywhere. Should have taken a picture, was so depressing.

  • Lord OfTruth

lets be honest… its some sort of foreigner…

  • shomac

The big question is whether you get the bathroom to yourself or if you have to share… I wouldn’t want to be woken up in the middle of the night by someone stumbling in to pee.

For rent: bathroom with ensuite bedroom

Vancouver has become such a desperate city. Obviously someone is either cheap or trying to stop a foreclosure on their home. There really is no need for this in Vancouver.

Be thankful for what you have right here in Canada, If you said it is not possible, It is very much you have not see the outside world and if you travel a lot to other countries in Asia, Mexico or even Africa, that room can be call a palace to so many people…it is your private room, no body else come to pee there for goodness sake, just make a joke…have a life…now it is up to person wants to pay for that price or not….but don’t laugh to see the advertisement…

“its some sort of foreigner” Wow, people’s stupidity still wows me. Can you even properly define the word foreigner?

  • Rosie

There appears to be no toilet in this “bathroom”…

  • Rosie

What’s worse is someone would have to pee in the shower. There is no toilet in the room!

  • Doris

are we judging and making fun of the landlord for creating this space or are we judging and laughing at the person who chooses to stay here because they have to maintain a certain budget and doesn’t want to shell out more money for a studio apartment, one bedroom or whatever you lucky people have?

I frankly think that I’d rather live in this one because it’s nice and clean rather than someone’s one bedroom shared everything with everyone else in some old decrepit house.

And to slimjim, stop being so racist. You’re not even hiding it hahaha

  • Chris Hansen

So which sort of foreigner are you? Scots, German, Irish, English, French, Dutch? Or are you an aboriginal, since they are the only group of people in Canada who have the right to call most of us foreigners. By the way, are you the hero in the white cape who burns crosses on people’s lawns?

  • Chris Hansen

So what are your standards? Creating child pornography sites? Molesting little kids in developing countries? Scamming pensioners out of their life savings? Or just plain-old “I hate people from China, because they don’t look Canadian white?”

  • Chris Hansen

By the way JimSlim, this is your standard right?

It is against the law. The city shuts them down as they find them (Property Use Inspectors)

  • Winters

Looks exactly like the rooms in Hong Kong where your kitchen, bathroom and bed are all in the same place! Barely any space to walk.
