TransLink's Buzzer Blog invites you to discussion on transit

Translink Buzzer Blog

The Buzzer has been a mainstay of Vancouver public transit news for the past 96 years! In 2008, an online blog was launched to complement the print publication found in all of TransLink’s transit vehicles. Altogether, it has been an “online place where TransLink shares news, commentary and behind-the-scenes stories directly with customers.” On Wednesday, March 27, the Buzzer’s Editors are inviting you to join them in a fun, online Google Hangout live video chat. This will be your chance to learn more about the Buzzer and TransLink!

Google Hangout is a live video chat run through the Google+ social network. If you would like to join the Buzzer editors and avid transit news followers in the online video discussion, here are the details:

  • Date and time: Wednesday, March 27, 2013 – noon to 1 p.m.
  • Where: Online! Here’s the Google Hangout event listing. The Hangout can also be seen on TransLink’s Google+ profile page.
  • Who: Jhenifer Pabillano and Robert Willis, Buzzer editors.
  • What: All about the history of the Buzzer, plus answers to any questions you might have.

As well, if you are interested in participating live in the Hangout via video, send them a email.
