Chinese New Year 2013 Vancouver events
1. Chinese New Year Parade Vancouver 2013.

Taking place at the Vancouver Art Gallery Place from February 15-17, 2013, this annual display of lanterns draws in thousands of spectators. Free to attend.
3. TEMPLE FAIR at Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden
The Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden in Vancouver presents a family-friendly festival on Sunday, Feb. 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Featuring traditional Chinese games, dumpling and noodle-making demos, arts and crafts for kids and much more.
4. Lion Dancers at Burnaby Heights
Burnaby Heights gets in the festive spirit as The Heights become alive with traditional lion dancers make their way outside businesses with a special blessing of luck and prosperity. This takes place Saturday, Feb. 16 from noon to 2:30 pm.

6. 2013 Vancouver Spring show
The third annual Vancouver Spring Show at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre features Cirque du Soleil performers, China and Canadian Idol to celebrate Chinese New Year.
7. Chinese New Year at Granville Island
Granville Island gets into the spirit of things with a Year of the Snake procession on Sunday, February 10 from 10:30 am-12:30 pm
