A shroud of secrecy surrounds Pretty Estates Resort — home to Rowena’s Inn on the River, Sandpiper Golf Course and River’s Edge Restaurant — since rumours of burning passion have engulfed the Fraser Valley’s most romantic boutique resort.

This Valentines, guests can choose between a cozy room at the historical Rowena’s Inn on the River or a luxurious, rustic cabin. Final touches include a real wood-burning fireplace, complimentary sparkling wine, a deluxe fruit and cheese platter, a dozen long-stemmed roses and Pretty Estate’s signature homemade breakfast.

Each couple will also receive a souvenir bottle from Domaine De Chaberton, a gift-wrapped box of handmade chocolates and a ‘welcome card’ containing $50 worth of ‘Romance Rewards’ to be used at River’s Edge Restaurant.

The Valentines Package is available from Friday, February 8 to Monday, February 18, starting at only $250/couple.

At River’s Edge, Chef has prepared a menu that’s to die for.

From February 10-15, the Surf and Turf menu is offered (featuring Beef Tenderloin with prawns and scallops and a chocolate hazelnut parfait for two).

On February 14, Chef will be preparing a 4-course dinner where guests can choose between Escargot Wellington, Aragosta Capelli D’Angelo Rosé or Duck Confit — a mouth-watering dining experience by candlelight and fireside.

At Rowena’s Inn on the River, indulgence is a way of life. Secluded on a lush 160-acre estate, Rowena’s evokes an atmosphere of understated elegance.

Large windows bathe the European-infused elegance in natural light and the furniture exemplifies a timeless stylishness. Pretty Estates Resort’s outstanding personalized service and attention to detail has become an unquestioned hallmark.

By car, Pretty Estates Resort is only 1.5 hours east of Vancouver and 35 minutes north of Abbotsford. Complete with its own 2,100 ft. air strip, Pretty Estates is a 20-30 minute flight from downtown Vancouver.
