The biggest sporting event in North America takes place in New Orleans this week, as the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers battle it out in Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday, February 3.
Although some Vancouverites will be making the trip down to the “Big Easy,” the majority of us will be staying in town to catch all the action. With that in mind here are the top 5 spots in Vancouver to watch the Super Bowl.

This is the biggest party in town for Super Bowl Sunday. The NFL-approved party at the Commodore Ballroom features NFL players, Darren Woodson and Shaun Alexander, NFL cheerleaders and a New Orleans-inspired tailgate spread. They’ll also be giving away a free trip to any 2013 NFL game of your choice if you win the contest during the event + spending money.
Starting at 10 a.m., you can enjoy $3.75 craft beer sleeves, $5 Caesars and plenty of pork.
