No Pants Skytrain ride Vancouver 2013

By Vancity Buzz Staff | 2 years ago | Speak Up

The No Pants Skytrain ride Vancouver is back for 2013 and it  goes down this Sunday, January 13, 2013.

Here is all the information you’ll need to join in this pantless celebration to be witnessed by riders on public transit.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION:

1) Willing to take pants off on the Skytrain
2) Able to keep a straight face about it

** THIS IS A PARTICIPATORY EVENT. DO NOT SHOW UP UNLESS YOU PLAN TO TAKE YOUR PANTS OFF **

When: Sunday, January 13th at 1PM, sharp!
Where: Broadway Skytrain station, ground level by the escalators on the South side of Broadway (opposite Shoppers).
Bring: A backpack and paid fare/ transit pass.
Wear: Normal clothes. Wear something appropriate. The mission is to make people laugh, not piss them off.

HOW IT WORKS:

Do not talk to others once you enter the Skytrain. No one knows each other. Sit in the car as you normally would. Read a magazine or whatever you would normally do.

As soon as the doors shut, stand up and take your pants off and put them in your backpack. If you’d like to use a briefcase, purse, grocery bag, or whatever instead of a backpack that’s fine too. If anyone asks you why you’ve removed your pants, tell them that they were “getting uncomfortable” (or something along those lines).

Act as you normally would. You do not know any of the other pantless riders. If questioned, tell folks that you “forgot to wear pants” and yes you are “a little cold.” Insist that it is a coincidence that others also forgot their pants. Be nice and friendly and normal.

Wear something appropriate. Wear two pairs of underwear if it makes you feel more comfortable.

  • Mainlander

    Retarded millenials…

  • Zoe Allen

Technical it’s the No Pants Canada Line ride…

  • FreshlyFacefool

There are two Broadway Stations; are you talking about the Canada Line or Expo Line Broadway Station?

  • Aaron

I liked Mainlander’s comment…not because I pretty much agree, but because it’s funny to see anyone call someone else retarded and then spell a word incorrectly.

  • guesty

I think it’s pretty clear when it say South side Broadway (opposite Shoppers) and since Canada Line Broadway doesn’t have a Shoppers Drug Mart… It’s probably going to be Commercial Drive/Broadway Station. :P

  • Karny Rosser

TIME FOR ALL THE PERVERT TO COME
    HEHEHHEHE

  • Frank

Uhh..not quite. There’s “BROADWAY STATION” on the Canada Line and “COMMERCIAL-BROADWAY STATION” on the Expo/Millennium Line. Surely if you were referring to the latter you’d use it’s actual name, no?

  • NYAHHH

Guys, its Commercial/Broadway not Broadway-City Hall on the Canada Line.  There is no shoppers over there, just a london drugs. If your being, be at the Commercial/Broadway

Hope they enjoy freezing for such a pointless idea.

We only have the immature Millennial Generation to thank.

    Generation Y at it’s best
    Y should I get a job?
Y should I leave home and find my own place?
Y should I get a car when I can borrow yours?
Y should I clean my room?
Y should I wash and iron my own clothes?
Y should I buy any food?

  • Vlad

FYI, Canada Line is not “Broadway Station”, it’s “Broadway-City Hall”, so your point is completely moot.
