There has been yet another development in the XL Foods Beef Recall. A plant in Alberta has been expanded, again, as officials are looking into a sixth case that may be linked to XL Foods.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has released an updated list of the recall products related to the XL Foods beef recall, which contains hundreds of products and stores across Canada and the U.S.

If you want more information on the investigation and steps being taken, go here.

Public Health Agency of Canada employee Harpreet Kochkar says XL Foods had a plan in place to battle E. coli; however, they didn’t follow or update their plan.

Federal Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz says the XL Foods plant isn’t allowed to reopen until investigators are sure it’s safe.
