There’s no better way to spend a weekend morning than by having brunch amongst gorgeous scenery.Lucky for us in Vancouver, we have the Teahouse in Stanley Park. Ever since 1978, the Teahouse has given guests the opportunity to indulge in fine foods while staring out into the endless ocean. Some may find this too dreamy to be true, but here in Vancouver, all it takes is a reservation.

The Teahouse’s heated patio is a fine place to dine during any time of year.

The inside of the Teahouse features elegant and classic decor that is easily adored by all.

Like all top notch brunch restaurants, the Teahouse serves a Caesar’s that is to die for. With just the right amount of spiciness and flavour, this drink accompanies any savoury dish.

The Teahouse prides itself in offering the freshest seafood and ingredients. From salmon to figs, they’ve got it all covered.

I was personally blown away by the Warm Croissants and Homemade Jam here. The croissants perfectly baked such that they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The homemade jam was impeccable because it tasted as if it had no preservatives and added sugar – just raw fruity goodness.

The Coal Harbour Clam Chowder is a Manhattan style chowder packed with all kinds of yummy ingredients. It’s a good soup for those who like a tomato base.

The Steak and Eggs at the Teahouse is a force not to be reckoned with. It features a juicy 7oz steak drenched with rosemary jus, along with eggs, fruits, and a toast. This main dish is sure to satisfy even the heartiest of appetites.

The Ferguson Point Benedict here is a good vegetarian-friendly option that you can’t go wrong with. It’s got a whole lot of wild mushrooms covered in some irresistible hollandaise sauce, topped off with some fruits and potatoes on the side. That and the poached egg it comes with is what I’d call a perfect breakfast.

After brunch desserts here just simply cannot be missed. The Teahouse pays great attention to detail to make sure that all their sweets not only taste good, but also look good.

A fantastic dessert drink to have is the Polar Bear. It’s a hot chocolate with some bailey’s a peppermint schnapps. Festive as this drink is, I wouldn’t wait till Christmas to try it out – it’s just that awesome.

Whether you’re looking for a romantic brunch or one that suits the whole family, the Teahouse at Stanley Park will accommodate your occasion. The nature in Stanley Park itself is versatile, and so is this restaurant. This restaurant simply nails everything from its service to its food, and the breathtaking scenery is the cherry on top. Give them a try next weekend and you’ll know what I’m talking about.
