Rumours that both Ensemble and Ensemble tap are closing

Update: Numerous sources are confirming that Dale Mackay has decided to close both Ensemble and Ensemble Tap. Looks like the curse of the 850 Thurlow (Where Smithe Street turns into Haro Street) continues.

Rumour has it that Chef Dale Mackay’s restaurants Ensemble and Ensemble Tap will be closing in the near future.  Vancouver’s man about town, Fred Lee tweeted earlier “Sad news. Acclaimed Top Chef Canada winner and all around good guy Dale Mackay to shutter his restaurants.” Other were tweeting this all day as well.

If true, his talents will be missed.
