This is awesome and hope I can participate next year. Way to go Vancouver.

They blocked the sidewalk on Cordova and Seymour streets. I was there with my white cane and had a heck of a time negotiating my way on the sidewalk. Pnahandlers were shoved to the side as the elite in their elegant whites obstructed pedestrian traffic. i was reminded of Rome in the dying days of the empire. All the white designer dresses and the pricey suits made a pretty picture. i could still smell the urine from the adjacent allys and i could see the hunger on the faces of the poor people panhandling!
