It’s pretty cool to have friends, but do you know what’s even cooler? Having friends with yachts! Inspired by our city’s recent arrival of summer, (and the influx of boat party photos on my twitter/instagram feed) – I present to you how to look sailor friendly for all ocassions!
The must haves:

Beginner’s outfit– Not sure what I’m doing on the boat.
Casual outfit– I think I get the hang of it.
White pants are always a murky subject as rarely are they done properly (thanks Vancouver), but for yacht go-ers, they’re a staple, crisp, clean and very summer chic! Ultimate outfit– pass me the champagne, time to pop bottles.
Now this is the ultimate ensemble for a true yacht vet. Wedges on an unstable ground? Check. Floppy hat for unpredictable wind? Check. In case anyone doubts this outfit as being nautical, the anchor earrings should do the trick. Floppy hat / Vince Camuto wedges / Striped peplum dress / Navy links necklace / Anchor studs
