Best Of: Cocktails – B.B.Ques Copper Bar
B.B.Ques Copper Bar in Yaletown has made rotisserie-style cooking the cornerstone of their menu, with one of only two vertical rotisseries in Canada.
B.B.Ques offers Yaletown an environment of real people serving real people. Not to offend any Earls, Glowbal or Cactus Club regulars, but the chill, laid back feel of B.B.Ques is definitely a rarity in Yaletown bars.
Manager and bartender Josh Leakey takes his job with equal measures of business and pleasure. He has a gifts, my friends, a gift for making absolutely any cocktail I throw at him. Ask him to surprise you, and he will never disappoint. Not something you would normally expect from a sports bar.
On the night in question, I asked for two random cocktails: one fresh and fruity, one sweet and chocolatey.

Cocktail number one (above): Malibu rum, peach Schnapps, banana liqueur, orange juice, pineapple juice, strawberry puree.
Cocktail number two (below): homemade caramel sauce drizzled onto a frozen glass, Baileys, Cointreau, Creme de Cacao, Spice Box.

Let the pictures speak for themselves. Delicious!
It is worth noting that B.B.Ques has a new selection of craft beers available. Driftwood, Deschutes, Russell Cream, Fruli, Lighthouse Switchback…only a few of the great, tasty beers available for their summer menu.
Come join the rest of the regulars for crispy hot wings, or one of their daily $10 specials if you’re really hungry.
Bon appetit!
