The West Vancouver house dubbed “Private Marine Paradise”, is currently listed for  $ 34,000,000. That’s probably $33,950,000 more than most of us can afford but one can always dream. This waterfront estate comes complete with a boat garage and is situated on a private peninsula in the wealthy suburb of West Vancouver.

Listed by Angell Hasman and Associates this gated estate residence has its own private peninsula with spectacular ocean views, private beach and over 650 feet of natural shoreline. It contains  4 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and was recently redone by one of Vancouver’s most renowned architects Russell Hollingsworth.

Here are some photos for you to drool over, or get enraged over, whatever helps you get through day.

Question is would you rather live in this or the $28,000,000 penthouse suite at the Fairmont Pacific Rim? As a city dweller I’d take the condo over this any day of the week.

Wow, that is here? .. I would love to live there, just for like, one year!.. I love our city.. and I love the views.. and how amazing would this be ? I would even just love to see it.. (the 34 Million, is not quite there.. to buy it..  .. ahhh sigh….the life others live.. ) thanks

  • Baron S. Cameron

Neither… though this is an amazing house and the PH at the Fairmont is stunning, I’m still saving my pennies (about $5million worth, I think) for the Penthouse at the Keefer.

    Not a 34 Million home – 5 – 6 maybe

  • Silvertyed

as gorgeous as the view is, the house is not a home… it’s very cold looking

  • Haha

Looks cold and lonely , can’t imagine living there with a family…the penthouse at the fairmont looks more welcoming 34 million what a joke

  • DATRUTE

     shut up dude

  • PartyGuy

While most of the comments here say it seems to be cold and lonely, I think this home is catered towards a social butterfly who likes to hold private parties and likes to party a lot generally seeing the amount of open space for people to hang out and socialize.

  • Lori Crane

Aaaah only in Beautiful British Columbia!!!

  • Meadfe

This is Vancouver a closet is 2 million

  • Matt

Take a look at soprovich.com he’s got way better houses for sale for $4-7 million.

  • zinav

    LOL

  • Jonh

LOL.. a 2 bedroom apartment in downtown cost $500 000. a penthouse in an apartment in downtown cost at least $5 million. a private residence property in north vancouver, u think costs anything less than that??? i live in richmond and houses are easily reaching over $1 million.

  • Thomas

    good place to entertaining friends.

  • Vancitygirl007

Everyone on here who is being negative and slamming this place would move in here in a heartbeat! Who are you kidding?! … No wait, stay in your grungy westend apt instead right? LOL

  • Nelavision

Its very beautiful, but in my opinion a little too white and cold looking. I would definitely throw a wicked party there though! With 34 million I would spend 5 on properties all over the world, Mexico, Barbados, Vancouver, New York, renovate and flip them, and use the rest of the money to open a design incubator for artists and designers.

If you want to live in/ build a luxury home built custom for you, without the 34 million price tag, check out trensettadesign.com…their site is still under construction but you can email
[email protected] for more info or to have them give you a presentation.

They are an amazing team of designers, architects and other industry specialist who have big hearts and are really good, talented people!

  • Liddler

    I’ll take both, please!

  • Vince

No thanks, I’ll take a 12 bedroom in Beverly Hills next to Britney Spears where it doesn’t rain for 9 month out of the year for 10 mill

  • DATRUTE

Obviously we would “move in here in a heartbeat” if it were magically handed over to us. But if I had a 34+ million budget for a house, I wouldn’t purchase this thing. There are far greater homes out there for a fraction of the price, in my opinion.

  • Xfour000

listed at 34m but it wont sell for that

  • mak

Credits to pool builder Ed Trasolini from Trasolini Pools — gorgeous swimming pool !

  • Rick mc

ya  stay away from this one  35 years that pool is full of sea water and the property is worth not one dime

  • Nwest

Did they forget to put some color in the house?  Kind of white?

  • Gregory Ould

Looks cold and uninviting. Rather live on 200 acres in Montana!

  • Wetcoast Bc

Surprise, surprise! It sold (announced Feb 18th 2013) for the asking price!!! $34 MILLION Vancouver bucks! GLOBAL News
