Canucks Caught on Google Street View

Google Street View has caught a lot of funny things in its short existence. There is this accident in Richmond (don’t worry no one was hurt) and this day time “deal” going on in Surrey. The most recent Vancouver related street view to surface is of the Vancouver Canucks in San Jose from May of last year. That’s when they were in the Western Conference finals against the Sharks.

Looking at the image, I can spot Malhotra (sitting on the bench), the Sedins and I believe Raymond and Kesler. There are two other players but I can’t make out who they are?

Oh ya, you can definitely see Higgins there too (second from the left in the top picture).

But the real question is, how does anyone spot this!? Who’s looking at San Jose street views? Not that it’s impossible, just seems way too obscure.

Hate to take it away from the Canucks, but looking at the Richmond photo…seeing gas at 99 cents made me cry a little inside.
