More Photos of the Twisting Tower at Beach & Howe

BIG Tower Vancouver

Vancouver is a naturally beautiful city, however, when it comes to architecture we’re a little plain. We’re a city that relies on our natural beauty way too much. Here’s hoping the Bjarke Ingles Group (BIG) architects can introduce a new renaissance in Vancouver culture of bland skyscrapers.

The project got the go ahead this week from the Urban Design Panel (UDP) this week. Unlike the original twisting tower by the late Arthur Erickson aka Ritz-Carlton Vancouver, this tower is backed by a very reputable developer in Westbank Properties.

We’ve covered this project from the very beginning. We were first to leak images of the top heavy/semi-twist tower and then more photos once it was made public. We told you about the open house and the subsequent model photos and now we have more photos for you to drool over. Enjoy.
