Anderson Cooper 360 Degree World View Contest

Vancouver Canada News Anderson Cooper 360 Degree World View Contest
February 20, 2012
Posted by Crystal Kwon | 126 »

A few weeks ago, we broke news that Anderson Cooper is bringing his 360 Degree View of the World event to Vancouver on April 5, 2012. Undoubtedly, this is going to be quite event for anyone that appreciates the talent and breadth of experiences Anderson Cooper has to share.

On April 5, 2012, I am certain that the Vancouver Convention Centre is going to be the place to be. Offering much more than the Anderson Cooper experience, the all-inclusive pricing includes an open cocktail bar, six espresso stands, live music, hors d’oeuvres and canapés in addition to lunch. Now that is just awesome.

Here’s a quick look at the schedule:

10:30am – 11:45am – Pre-Event Reception
Guests will arrive at the engagement to the sounds of a live concert pianist playing in the foyer.
Copies of Anderson Cooper’s book “Dispatches from the Edge” will be sold with a $10 donation going to charity. Several host espresso stands, open cocktail bars, hors d’oeuvres and canapés will be available at this time. All food and beverage is included with your purchase of ticket.

12:00pm – 2pm – Opening remarks & Keynote followed by Q&A
Opening remarks from event host, sponsors and dignitaries.
Anderson Cooper will commence his program. Questions will be taken from the floor as well as various social media platforms such as HootSuite.

This will sell out so I recommend you do not wait. Single tickets are $175 and groups of tens for $1,750. All tickets are available for purchase at Northern Tickets, by phone at 604.549.1144 or in person at their box office  918 Granville Street. If you’re feeling generous and would like to share this experience with a student, there is a BCIT Student Giveback Program where you can purchase a ticket on the behalf of a starving (but ambitious) student. Full details are on the Northern Tickets website.

Given the giggling comment has been made so many times – I’ll have to say his interview with the ‘Toddlers and Tiaras’ families.

Does it have to be CNN?  I still remember his days hosting The Mole!  At CNN I remember following his Hurricane Katrina coverage closely as I had friends living in N.O.

  • jangonz

When they posted a childhood photo of him randomly while talking about Justin Bieber

  • ray

His RidicuList bits about Courtney Stodden!

  • Evan

He’s always put in good work on CNN, and now on his own talk program. Very well-versed and always amusing in the Ridiculist segments.

  • Jon

I don’t have memories yet;I watch him every day.

  • Travelbuds

I love all his stuff that he does.

  • Alyssa Bauer

As a BCIT broadcast student and aspiring journalist, I can’t think of a reporter I’d rather see speak in person. My favourite CNN memory of Anderson Cooper is when he carried the young Haitian boy to safety after he was struck by something in a riot following the earthquake. Anderson Cooper is a respectable and talented journalist and I would love the opportunity to attend his 360 Degree View of the World tour.

His interview with Adele, all the NYE events with Kathy Griffin, getting a surprise bday cake and balloons from Suze Orman and Kathy Griffin.

From his talk show – when he went tanning with Snooki. And when his mom and Kathy G hung out.

I am a certified court reporter who works providing captioning services for the hard of hearing and deaf communities.  I feel this event should be captioned and I love Anderson Cooper so I think you should hire me to do the captioning for this event.  I have lots of experience performing this work.
