Ahhh, another place to “glorify” the women who were dubbed as “unapproachable” and snobby in that latest article about Vancouver Women Sucking! Amazing! Not really. What is the meaning of taking pictures of a girl out and around? Is this supposed to inspire other girls and people somehow? How about taking pictures of girls and boys going to school, reading books, accomplishing something that will actually benefit people in a direct way…rather than glorifying some hot girl posing around town…I weep for the next generation…we are turning out an entire generation of vegetables.

You cannot judge everyone by one article. Chances are these women being photographed are not snobby and unapproachable but are being photographed for other reasons. Whether it be for a future in modeling, dance career, or the good they have done in our society. You don’t know the background on any of these women so who are you to judge? The fact that you have taken the time to express your feelings on women you do not know is mind boggling to me. Let’s see you create a blog such as Vancity Buzz and get even higher reviews. I’d love to see your take on what “real” men and women are like.

Trust me, most of these so called “models” are pretty snobby, even without the actual accomplishments! I’m just suggesting that our culture is very superficial and unsophisticated. Also, if they have done anything great, then why not list them here? People want to read materials here, so lets list these models’ qualifications, accomplishments etc.
And…come one man, modeling in Vancouver for a dance career? This is not NY…this is still a small town on the West Coast, and actual opportunities for advancing in one’s career are pretty limited here. If she really wants to have a chance at making it big, she would have gone to NY or Milan, Paris and other actual centers of fashion and design.
Now, I’m not really judging this particular person, I’m judging the “image” of the entire approach, which is a critical analysis, which you might know something about if you have done some higher education and trained your brain to actually think about the nature of the world going on around you. No offense by the way KL.

If you were really judging the “image” of the approach, as you so-called, you wouldn’t have declared or stereotyped the image of a model being snobby. The purpose of this page is not just for the sole purpose of the model, who I used to work particularly used to work with, but the art of photography itself.
Give Vancouver some credit, we have some of the most beautiful woman in the world, so why not boast it! Shout it to the world and say the hell with “image” or being stereotypical. We are an internationally renown city for its beauty and there we are allowed as a society to have more than one beauty and show it off.
No need for that “Im smarter than you” bullshit, because you don’t have to be a smart ass to figure out that modelling + photography go hand-in-hand. Approach the world with an open mind and you might just get some where in this,” Very superficial and unsophisticated” culture.
