Last week we found the most accurate map of Vancouver. While most people dismissed it as a joke, as most over simplifications are, others took the map a little too seriously. These people are obviously not fans of Chris Rock’s brand of comedy. As a born and raised Vancouverite, having lived in East Van, South Van and now currently settled downtown, I found the map hilarious and true, with some omissions of course.

This week the suburbs have their own map. Yes, we did not forget about you. The maps below have been enlarged for your viewing pleasure. They’re pretty funny, just look past the few spelling mistakes.

Burnaby/New Westminster

Richmond

North Vancouver/West Vancouver

South Delta

North Delta

Tri-Cities, Maple Ridge etc…

Surrey/Langley aka Fraser Valley

    Haha love the “poor people/wedding dress” label for New West.. Whenever I’m down there those are the first two things that I notice :/

    whoever made this very good.. except you need to divide deer lake/buckingham heights from the rest of burnaby.. we’re not poor zone with a 70′s time warp.. more like concerts and big houses

    Its funny, I live in the “Gay Family Suburbs” and I’ve met very, very few same sex couples. There are a ton of traditional families and a large number of European seniors and young Asian families living in the area. 

    Plus, I’d like to include that “Poor Zone with 70′s Time Warp” has some of the most expensive real estate in the province. Houses in and around Deer Lake can sell for upwards of 5 million.

    So Angel, obviously you didn’t look at the image credit below. You may also want to know is that this was made by the same person that did the Vancouver map. We reached out to them and asked if they could kindly make one of up of the suburbs, and they did and we first published it with FULL credit. So you can continue your pathetic trolling endeavours elsewhere. Merry Christmas.
