Happy Holidays: 12 Days of Giveaways 2011

It’s that time of year again. Whether you say Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad, Happy Hannukkah or…bah humbug, most people are celebrating something wonderful this month. Last year, we started the #12DaysofGiveaways (twitter hashtag for those scratching their head at the #) campaign (read here), where we announced our new look and a renewed motivation to make Vancity Buzz the most comprehensive and informative site in Vancouver that would serve our readers and community.

We also gave away $3,000 worth of prizing. Looking back now, I think that we have taken one huge, step in that direction. We are still making strides each day, growing furiously and are deeply humbled by your acceptance.

We’re going to continue with our #12DaysofGiveaways this year. But this time, we are giving away $7,500 worth of really, cool stuff. We’ve done the math. It’s a great mix of good and services and hopefully we have something for everyone on your list. The concept remains the same:

• 12 days of giveaways from Monday, December 5 to Friday, December 16.
• 1 (or more) giveaway announcement each day
• Giveaways lengths very. Some run for 24 hours, others 3 days and some even go for 5 days or more.
