Think about it….
Women make up a mere:
3% of clout positions in the mainstream media,
3% of Fortune 500 CEO’s,
7% of mainstream film directors,
16% of film protagonists,
17% of the US Congress,
yet our gender is representative of 51% of the population in the United States.

“As a culture, women are brought up to be fundamentally insecure…”
~ Lisa Ling, Host OWN’s “Our America” (@lisaling)

“The media can be an instrument of change it can awaken people and change minds. It depends on who is piloting the plane.”
~ Katie Couric, Journalist, Single Mom (@Katiecouric)

“We’re short-changing voices that are urgently needed in public forums from ever getting to the table.”
~ Cory Booker, Mayor of Newark, New Jersey (@CoryBooker)
