Wrapped Electrical Boxes Invade Downtown

Hey! I am starting a personal project about graffiti in Vancouver. Are you interested in partnering up? By “partnering up”, I mean by like, I give would submit the photos onto flickr, and you use them to be shown in this section or another section?

The wraps on these boxes is a subset of a system I proposed to the city pre Olympics as a ‘way-finding’ project where at the pole mounted Traffic light control box at every Pedestrian and Traffic light intersection in the city (~800) would be wrapped with themed artwork. The major asset of my project was to include a QR code at each and every box which would link to a web-page that took you directly to a location aware map and link to free online classifieds that were located within 1 block of your location.
Craig’s list was keen to co-operate but the city was not – now that Emily-Carr has succeeded with the Telus boxes (Not Electrical) perhaps we may have a better chance.
