Death Cab For Cutie at Rogers Arena October 21st Ticket Giveaway
When I, like most Vancouver residents think of Bellingham Washington I think of outlet malls. But as many of you know it is more than just discount shopping. It is also the birth place of alt-rockers Death Cab For Cutie.
We are proud to announce that we are teaming up with our friends at Livenation yet again for another ticket giveaway. This time around we are offering a pair of tickets to go see Death Cab For Cutie live at Rogers Arena on October 21st. All you gotta do to enter is follow one (or both) of the easy entry ways below and you are eligible to win the tickets.
1. Retweet the following:
- Enter to win a pair of tix to see Death Cab For Cutie via @sutherland604, @Cwistal & @VancityBuzz http://bit.ly/oSGKrs RT to enter!
2. Don’t have twitter and still want to enter. Just leave a comment and tell us the last concert you went to.
Contest ends October 8th, 2011 at noon. The winner will be drawn at random and your name will be forwarded to Livenation and tickets will be at the will-call window.
Good luck to everyone that enters! If you are not the lucky winner you can still get tickets online at Ticketmaster for this show at Rogers Arena.
Earlier this year Death Cab For Cutie released their seventh studio album Codes and Keys in May. Having a career that spans seven albums and over 15 years means you don’t go on tour to play mid-sized venues, you get to play arenas and stadiums. In my opinion their album Transatlanticism is one of the best albums of the 200s. Rolingstone agreed when they placed the certified Gold album at number 57 on the Best Albums of The Decade List. You can expect a nice mix of old & new songs when they come to play Rogers Arena on October 21st. I’ll see ya there!
