Crate and Barrel to Open a Vancouver Store

Crate and Barrel, the American furniture and housewares retailer is coming to Vancouver. They’ll be setting up shop at Oakridge Centre to be more precise. The exact opening date is unknown but I’d say sometime in 2012.

For those of you unfamiliar with the brand they carry good quality kitchen accessories, bath items, furniture and interior pieces. Great quality at decent prices.

The location inside the mall will surprise many as it will be located where the current theatre and restaurant (can’t remember it’s name) is located. This all part of the Oakridge Centre redevelopment. For people worried about losing a theatre, fear not when the city finally passes the development proposal for Marine Gateway on Cambie and Marine, that development will include a brand new theatre.
