VIBC’s City of Bhangra is back this year in a huge way! Featuring artists from around the world, performances, parties, and a major exhibit years in the making, Bhangra is showcased through a perspective those in the Arts will truly appreciate along with casual Bhangra fans.

Bhangra.me: Vancouver’s Bhangra Story is an interactive exhibition that links Bhangra music and dance with issues of identity, politics, diaspora and life in Vancouver. Co-produced by the Museum of Vancouver and Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration Society, Bhangra.me runs from May 5 – October 23, 2011 at 1100 Chestnut Street, in Vanier Park.
