Giant Cereal Box at the Vancouver Art Gallery

It looks as though the mystery at the Vancouver Art Gallery has finally been solved. What we have here folks is a giant 20 foot cereal box. The question though still remains, why? Is it some sort of new public art? A giant billboard for a new kind of cereal. If you’re interested the official unveiling will be tomorrow at 11 am at the Vancouver Art Gallery. We’ll be there!

Just because this isn’t something you personally enjoy doesn’t mean it isn’t art. Andy Warhol and his friends would get together and piss on copper to make it change colours. They called that art, and it really is. Just look at it? Who are you to say what is and is not art? There could be a very real message and reason for why the artist chose to create this installation piece and I think whether or not someone likes or understands their style, it should still be appreciated as a creative piece.
