Japanese Peace Pagoda photo for sale
Here is another chance to donate and help the survivors of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. In return you will receive a photograph that will hopefully remind you of our humanity, fragility and compassion.
This photograph depicts of one of the World Peace Pagodas. The project was started by Nichidatsu Fujii, Japanese Buddhist monk, after the atomic bombs destroyed Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The one pictured here is located in Lumbini, Nepal, only a few hundred meters from the place where Buddha was born. The pagodas are a symbol of peace. It is in times like these, when people are faced with a power of nature so strong that no fortification can protect them, that we realize how all of the bickering over power and religion is meaningless.
If you would like to purchase this print you can go here. All proceeds will go to charity to help the victims of the earthquake.
