Popcorn serves the local restaurant and hospitality businesses to help increase their visibility through social media marketing and online promotions.

Join Popcorn on February 23rd, 2011 from 5:30pm-7:30pm for their official launch party/tweetup at The Refinery (1115 Granville St., Vancouver). Popcorn founder, Dennis Pang from Motive8 Media (www.motive8media.ca), has teamed up with Nick Routley and Amy Elderkin to bring you this new venture. Enjoy light canapes, cocktail and draft beer specials (including a specially crafted “Popcorn” cocktail), a live DJ spinning the smoothest grooves, and great networking opportunities.

On top of all this, they will be offering fresh bags of popcorn by donation with all proceeds going towards A Loving Spoonful (www.alovingspoonful.org). A Loving Spoonful is a volunteer-driven, non-partisan Society that provides free, nutritious meals to people living with HIV/AIDS in Greater Vancouver.

Tickets for this event are free and available online at http://popcornlaunch.eventbrite.com. It’s sold out, however, if you’re nice to Dennis, I’m sure he can squeeze you in
