Vancouver 125
How do I love thee, Vancouver? Let me count the ways. It’s no secret that Vancity Buzz is a supporter and enthusiast of our wonderful city. When we found out our lovely lady was turning 125 this year, we knew we had to create a special series that would showcase its accomplishments, trademarks and secret gems that make up Vancouver.
Starting this Wednesday, we will be launching a 13-week long series that will list 125 things that make our city one of the greatest places to live in the world. Ever week, stay tuned for a list of things that make Vancouver a wonderful city. This will run until April 6, 2011 (Vancouver’s birthday). Near the end of our series, we’ll open up a poll to ask our readers, those who live, breathe and work in the city to contribute to the list, because there are no better experts then the people that make it what it is.
We’ve created the hashtag #Van125 for this celebration so feel free to use it as well. Spread the word of this to all your followers on twitter:
