Everyone’s calling themselves an expert in Social Media these days. But do they really know their stuff? The first ever Social Media Marketing Unplugged Conference will separate the know-hows from the know-nots. Conducted by eight social media marketing practitioners, this conference is designed to teach Marketing professionals, business owners, social campaign organizers, and students real world campaign strategies and implementation based on case studies. Speakers include:

Rochelle Grayson (BookRiff)
Marty Yaskowich (Tribal DDB Canada)
Elijah van der Giessen (David Suzuki Foundation)
Annalea Krebs (EthicalDeal)
Dave Olson (Hootsuite Media)
Amielle Lake (Tagga Media)
Iman Biock Aghay (SuccessRoad Enterprises)
Crystal Henrickson (Yelp Canada)

This is an intermediate-level social media conference, so topics will focus on using social media to conduct marketing campaigns, rather than how to get started. Topics will include building customer relations, planning, developing, and implementing social media marketing strategies, social media for social change, measuring and determining ROI, social media advertising, monetizing social media, mobile marketing, and case studies.
