Thanks to all our fabulous readers for voting Vancity Buzz #2 local blog in the annual Best of Vancouver series by Georgia Straight!

Two years ago, we started this blog in a basement in South Van for the heck of it, because we had a passion for Vancouver. We were very annoyed with the negative coverage and complainers in the blogosphere at that time. For goodness sakes, anyone that’s traveled knows there’s no place like home, Vancouver.

So we set out on a mission to highlight the good in Vancouver, but keep it straight at the same time, no bias. We were attacked by the boring and negative status quo at that time. What did we care? We got free publicity. We kept it real and always will.

So here we are today…

Where are we going with VcB? You’ll have to wait and see… The blogosphere will be shook up AGAIN like never before, we promise
