Canada’s largest garage sales for charity goes down this Saturday May 15th, 2010 from 10am – 4pm at 3333 Main St, Vancouver. This is the first Vancouver version of the National Garage Sale for Shelter. 100% of the proceeds from the event will be donated to our local women’s shelter and to provincial grassroots violence prevention programs for youth and children.

This is going to be much more than a garage sale as they also have activities for all ages (bouncy castle, live entertainment) food (cotton candy, bbq) and everything will be going to a great cause. Also, they’ll be accepting donations of gently used items and will even come and pick them up (large items will be picked up by professional movers).

DECLUTTER FOR A CAUSE IN SUPPORT OF THE ROYAL LEPAGE NATIONAL GARAGE SALE FOR SHELTER!

Royal LePage’s two Vancouver offices, Royal LePage Westside & Royal LePage City Centre, are so excited to be participating in this incredible event this year! Let’s make it a huge success!

On Saturday, May 15th 2010, Royal LePage offices across Canada will be transformed into an oasis for bargain hunters as they host the 2nd annual “National Garage Sale for Shelter” in support of the Shelter Foundation.

Last year the garage sale raised over $120,000 to help abused women and children across Canada. This year, with the help of the community and TD Canada Trust (National Presenting sponsor), Atlas Van Lines Canada (In-kind Moving and Transportation sponsor) and Advance Commission Company of Canada (Major Event sponsor), we’re poised to raise more money and awareness than ever!
